Caravan of Stones is featured across two pages of the Spring/Summer 2026 issue of Bite Magazine, in an article by Cristina Lloyd titled "The Thread of Luxury".
The feature begins where the brand began: in Jaipur, where founder Caron Bluestone first saw pavé diamonds set on thread and recognised something she had never seen in fine jewellery — softness, irreverence and freedom. That moment became the starting point for a London brand built on colour, craftsmanship and diamonds designed to be worn rather than saved.
From curator to creator
Bite traces a route into jewellery that was never a straight line. Languages, a career in finance, years spent living abroad and later working as a travel journalist — none of it was jewellery, and all of it shaped the brand's sense of colour, place and atmosphere.
Caravan of Stones launched in late 2024 as a curation of traditional Mughal-inspired pieces. A sharp rise in silver prices forced a rethink, and the Méridien and the soon-to-launch minis were born out of that moment of reinvention: a shift from curation to creation, while staying true to the idea that first captivated her in Jaipur.
Made by hand in Jaipur
Every piece is handmade by Jaipur's master artisans, blending ancient Mughal techniques with modern design. Every stone is set by hand and every thread woven by hand. Even the simplest bracelet takes at least a week to make, and the journey from concept to completion can take months. The newer designs required further technical development — sliding locks, waterproof threads and reimagined construction.
The bracelets featured
- Jaipur — Sand Pavé Diamond and Tourmaline Bracelet: a tribute to the Pink City that started everything, with 7.25 carats of pavé diamonds and 13.31 carats of vivid tourmaline on the signature sand thread.
- Salar — Pink Thread Pavé Diamond and Emerald Bracelet: inspired by the Bolivian salt flats, woven with vibrant pink thread, 0.85 carats of emeralds and 6.49 carats of pavé diamonds.
- Gili — Black Thread Diamond and Multi-Coloured Tourmaline Bracelet: 3.40 carats of diamonds set against 9.20 carats of tourmaline on sleek black thread.
- Saint Tropez — Sand Thread Bracelet with Single Cut Diamonds and Blue Topaz: 2.85 carats of diamonds intertwined with 11.32 carats of blue topaz on whisper-soft sand thread.
- Claret Velvet Stacker: approximately 4.76 carats of hand-set diamonds on deep claret thread, finished with the brand's signature spinning clasp.
Diamonds designed to be lived in
Colour runs through everything the brand makes. Caron works with natural diamonds because their history matters, and with thread because it brings softness and wearability. The article also gathers the milestones so far: being found by the jewellery editor of The Times a month after launching on Instagram, the Times LUXX Report placement, Lisa Snowdon wearing a piece on the BBC's It Takes Two, and a brand built from scratch with no external funding.
It closes on what Caravan of Stones is for: diamonds that do not have to be formal, traditional or reserved for rare moments — worn every day, in colour, in movement and in freedom.
