Caravan of Stones × What Kate Covets

A Collaboration in Colour, Diamonds & Self-ExpressionWhat Kate Covets Capsule Collection

In collaboration with Caravan of Stones

The Collaboration

Your colour. Your diamonds. Your signature.

Every Caravan of Stones bracelet pairs natural diamonds with hand-woven coloured thread — which makes the colour as personal as the sparkle. So we asked Kate Solinsky Berenter, seasonal colour analyst and founder of What Kate Covets, to choose the colours she covets most for each season.

The result is a capsule edit: one signature piece for each of the four seasons, twelve “Compliment Collector” colour pairings for our Bespoke service, and the three bracelets Kate wears herself. In her own words…

Chapter I · From Kate

I’ll admit it. I love to be the first to discover something truly unique.

I have a weakness for the extraordinary — and an instinct for things that feel entirely new. The pieces I treasure most are never the obvious choices. They’re the discoveries you almost want to keep to yourself.

When Caron Bluestone, founder of Caravan of Stones, asked me to create a capsule collection of her incredible bracelets inspired by the Colour Seasons, I was captivated. I had never seen ANYTHING quite like them: four, five, even seven carats of natural diamonds strung on colourful thread. Colour and diamonds. What could be better?

It felt like destiny…

My family has been in the jewellery business for decades, and I’ve always believed that fine jewellery is meant to be lived in, not saved for a special occasion. I first learned about Colour Analysis as a little girl, watching my own mother, a “Pink Cadillac Driving” Mary Kay lady, help her clients choose the right colours based on the Four Season system.

Your best colour is deeply personal.

Your best colours aren’t arbitrary. They are deeply connected to the unique combination of features that makes you you.

As a Seasonal Colour Analyst, I know that finding someone’s exact Colour Season requires extreme precision. I analyse the specific characteristics that make each person unique:

  1. 01Skin undertone
  2. 02Skin luminosity
  3. 03Depth & lightness
  4. 04Natural hair colour
  5. 05Eye colour
  6. 06Eye pattern
  7. 07Overall contrast
  8. 08How all of the features respond to colour

Together, they reveal a person’s precise season — and, within it, her power colours: the colours that bring out her radiance and harmonise perfectly with her features. When she wears them, she looks and feels her best. Her most confident.

I love the idea of translating that into these bracelets. If colour can be such a personal expression of who you are, what could be more personal than wearing one of your power colours combined with sparkly diamonds every day?

For this collection, I chose the colours I covet most from each season, created my favourite seasonal stacks, and selected three pieces that have a particularly personal meaning to me.

Your power colour. Your sparkle. Your talisman.

Chapter II · The Capsule Collection

The Four-Season Edit

Four seasons. Four coveted colours.

For each of the four major seasonal families, I chose the Caravan of Stones piece — and specifically the colour — that I would most want to see on someone who belongs to that palette.

These aren’t simply colours that “work”. They are the colours that, to me, have personality. Colours that can be worn every day and become part of a woman’s signature style.

Winter

Claret Velvet Slim Stacker

Ambition. Substance. Quiet Command.

Cool burgundy embodies ambition and authority — a rich, cool-toned red that conveys sophistication.

For the woman of style and substance. Self-assured and rich in character, it makes a statement without ever needing to shout.

Spring

Coral Gold Stacker

Warm. Luminous. Alive.

To me, coral is the essential Spring colour.

I see it again and again with my Spring clients: the moment coral goes under their face, they light up. Their skin glows, their eyes brighten, and suddenly their natural colouring feels so alive.

I also love what coral symbolises: strength, resilience and collective power.

Years ago, I met a woman who owned a winery in Tuscany. She was wearing incredible coral chandelier earrings and told me about the symbolism of coral — how it grows in the depths of the ocean, enduring powerful currents and volatile tides.

I’ve never forgotten that.

Perhaps that’s why coral feels so right for Spring: joyful and luminous on the surface, but incredibly strong underneath.

Summer

Baby Pink Row

Soft, luminous and quietly feminine.

Summer colouring is at its most beautiful in colours that are cool, soft and subtly blended.

No one wears baby pink quite like my Summer clients.

I love how this delicate shade softens their features and acts as a pretty neutral, giving them a soft, rosy glow. It often surprises my clients just how flattering — and wearable — baby pink can be.

Baby pink symbolises tenderness, softness, innocence and emotional warmth.

It’s also a beautiful reminder to be kind and gentle with ourselves.

Autumn

Espresso Luxe Gold Stacker

Rich, decadent and endlessly wearable.

Espresso brown: the colour of quiet luxury.

Rich, grounded and effortlessly sophisticated, espresso brown represents warmth, stability, confidence and understated luxury.

This autumn and winter, it’s everywhere — from head-to-toe monochromatic looks and tailored outerwear to leather accessories, knitwear and eveningwear. Its appeal lies in its versatility: it feels just as timeless as black, but softer, warmer and more inviting.

Espresso brown is the ultimate expression of modern elegance — a colour that feels luxurious without trying too hard.

Kate’s most coveted pieces.

These are the three I wear myself — and each one means something different to me.

  1. Baby Pink

For the women I carry with me

I am a grateful breast cancer survivor, and wearing pink is a quiet reminder of the women who have been part of that journey with me — the women who continue to fight, the women who have come through it, and the women we have lost. Gratitude, resilience, sisterhood and remembrance.

  2. Méridien Vampire Claret

    My wearable power colour

One of my best colours, and one I find incredibly wearable. It has depth and sophistication, but the cool undertone keeps it firmly within my palette. It works with denim, black, neutrals and evening — a colour you can live in.
